Our quest for exotic coffees led us to the grandmother of all spices -- coriander, probably one of the first spices used by mankind, having been known as early as 5000 BC. While cardamom is the most predominant spice added to Turkish coffee in the Middle East, coriander is the preferred spice for many North Africans. Berber Coffee is our own blend of the finest Central American coffees, freshly ground with fresh coriander added.

I've also tried the Natashas' Cairo blend which is also an excellent choice. This is hands down the best coffee I've ever tasted. Of course the Ibrik provides a little more flavor intensity. In addition to making these the traditional way in an Ibrik, I've had success making them in a French Press. I recently started experimenting with Turkish Coffee and feel like I'm discovering coffee for the first time. The Berber coffee presents a variety of complex flavors and spices that make each sip a moment of joy.
